Vindi was founded in May 2013 with the mission of offering to the market a complete cloud payment method solution for billing subscriptions and recurring payments. Currently, the company is one of the main solutions on the market, serving schools, subscription e-commerce, academies and other companies that have recurring revenues.

In April 2016, the Company received the 1st round of investment from Criatec 2 in order to, in addition to financing expenses, finalize the development of new products. Vindi has been executing a consistent and sustainable growth strategy.

Currently, the company is the largest independent payment gateway in Brazil, with more than 5,000 customers and serving companies such as Buscapé, Wizard, VivaReal, Editora Abril, Movile, Multiplus Fidelidade.

In December 2020, Vindi was acquired by Locaweb, a technology company listed on B3. The transaction involved the total withdrawal of the Fund and the partial withdrawal of the entrepreneurs, who will still be entitled to an earn-out depending on the goals to be achieved. The sale of Vindi to Locaweb was a transaction of great repercussion in the Brazilian venture capital, generating value for entrepreneurs, fund, buyer and their respective shareholders.
