Fernando Silva is a partner responsible for the Venture Capital strategy, co-responsible for the Private Equity strategy in the technology platform, a member of the Executive Committee and the Data Protection Officer (“”DPO””). Mr. Silva has been with Crescera since 2013.

Mr. Silva is qualified by CVM (the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) and was selected as a featured manager in 2018 at Inside VC Brazil, an annual publication of ABVCAP (the Brazilian Association of Venture Capital and Private Equity).

With a track record of more than 40 investments, Mr. Silva is an expert in management, innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. Appointed by the Opportunity and Rio Bravo Investimentos groups, Mr. Silva served an executive in several venture capital companies working in its structuring processes.

Mr. Silva was also responsible for coordinating Rio de Janeiro online application to host the 2004 Olympic Games. He holds a Master’s degree in Systems and Computer Engineering from COPPE / UFRJ with co-supervision by the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics, IMPA and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from UFRJ. Mrs. Silva’s research in the technology area received awards from the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and UNESCO.
